Powerful Detox Drink Recipe

You know that sinking feeling you get when everyone around you starts getting sick with the latest bug that’s going around?

Or maybe you’re just feeling sluggish, weighed down and like your body needs a good cleanse.

Whatever the case may be, a natural detox drink like the recipe below will help improve your quality of life…and fast!

HOW THE INGREDIENTS WORK

Apple cider vinegar that’s raw, unfiltered and “with the mother” is full of enzymes, good bacteria (probiotics) and acetic acid that can kill unwanted bacteria in the body. It can also help relieve acid reflux, lower blood pressure, improve diabetes and support weight loss.

But that’s not all…apple cider vinegar is also a good source of polyphenols, which play an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, cancers, osteoporosis, diabetes and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.

Lemon juice contains vitamin C which helps cleanse the body. It also has an alkaline effect to regulate your PH level. Plus, it helps balance blood sugar.

Ginger is a natural antibiotic that’s very effective at killing bacteria. It also boosts your immune system and breaks down the accumulation of toxins in your organs.

Ceylon cinnamon is one of the best antioxidants on the planet, giving it powerful detox properties. It’s also the number one spice used for balancing blood sugar.

Cayenne pepper is very good for digestion and helping to move toxins out of the body. Plus, it has been shown to increase metabolism and lower blood pressure.

USAGE & NORMAL DETOX SIDE EFFECTS

If you’re looking for a significant detox, you can drink this detox potion up to 3 times a day for 2 weeks. Just be sure to drink it about 20 minutes before having a meal.

After 2 weeks, reduce your intake to once a day before breakfast.

If you have a lot of toxins built up in your body, you may experience some unpleasant detox side effects. This is totally normal and will pass in time.

Here are the most common side effects:

  • Headaches.
  • Nausea.
  • Excessive gas and bloating.
  • Frequent urination.
  • Strong smelling urine.
  • Increased (and sometimes uncomfortable) bowel movements.
  • Fatigue, weakness and feeling lethargic.
  • Bad breath and a coating on your tongue.
  • Hunger pangs or cravings.
  • Feeling anxious or irritable.

I know this doesn’t sound like much fun. But please know the potential short-term discomfort is 100% worth the health benefits you will experience in the long run through daily detox activities.

THE RECIPE

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Heat the water in a kettle or small saucepan on the stove.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a glass.

NOTE: You also have the option of just mixing the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, ginger, cinnamon and cayenne together in a small glass and chugging it like a shot.

As shown in the pic above, I like to use a 16-ounce mason jar for my detox drink.

I also drink from these reusable glass straws to protect my teeth. They are non-toxic, easy to clean and you can use them again and again!

Cheers to detoxing your body naturally and gently!

With love and gratitude,

Kandi
