How To Make Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs

If you’re strict about keeping your diet super clean or if you follow a gluten-free diet, you may find it challenging to make recipes that call for bread crumbs or any type of breading.

The good news is you can easily make you’re own “bread crumbs” with just a few simple ingredients…and none of them are bread!

THE RECIPE

~ Makes 1 Cup ~

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of almond flour, chickpea flour or oat flour
  • 1/2 cup of nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder (Skip if you don’t care for garlic.)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick

NOTE: Use all organic ingredients for optimum health benefits!  

Preparation:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and stir until well combined.
  2. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
