DIY Nontoxic Carpet Stain Remover (Just 2 Ingredients!)

If I had it to do over again, I would build my home without any carpet. I would have all hard floors and only put rugs where I need them.

Why?

Because carpet stains drive me crazy!

What drives me even more crazy is the toxic nonsense that’s inside most bottles of commercial carpet stain remover. Not only is it harmful to your health, it also breaks down the fibers in your carpet making them even more susceptible to stains.

The good news is I found a super simple and totally natural concoction for removing carpet stains that works like a CHARM!

Read on for the easy peasy details!

THE DIY FORMULA

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Mix the vinegar and salt in a bowl until the salt is dissolved.
  2. Blot the stained area of the carpet with warm water using a dishcloth or small junk towel.
  3. Scrub the stained area with the vinegar/salt solution.
  4. After the scrubbed area is dry, vacuum it well.

Yep, it’s that easy!
